Available for pre-order – the awesome Samsung Tocco Ultra Edition
Possibly one of the most successful handsets of last year has been given an update and is available now for pre-order on 3 Mobile’s website. The Samsung Tocco Ultra Edition is released in early April and I have to say it is looking particularly awesome.
As you can see from the picture there is a delicious 2.8 inch touch screen, but the Tocco Ultra also has a slide-out keypad so you can input text without your fingers getting in the way. At only 12.7mm thick and with a beautiful AMOLED display, it is certainly one of the prettiest phones on the market.
The new Samsung Tocco Ultra upgrades its camera to 8 megapixels (from 5) and includes some pretty amazing features like face detection and geo-tagging of photos. The camera can shoot VGA video at a healthy 30fps, which you can also edit by cutting footage and adding subtitles.
The phone is GPS enabled so you’ll never get lost again (well, as long as you have a phone signal and some life left in your battery). It’s also got all the features you’d expect from a high end mobile phone including a MicroSD card slot, email, instant messenger, Skype, FM radio, music player, HSDPA web browsing and more.
3 Mobile are making the Samsung Tocco Ultra Edition available as PAYG or on Texter and Mix & Match plans from just £15 a month or £30 a month if you want the phone for free.
