Let's clear up a couple of things on Mobile Broadband
3 Mobile Broadband is fantastic – that’s pretty obvious – broadband speed internet wirelessly through the air, even while you’re mobile – great! But I feel that there are a couple of benefits that aren’t necessarily obvious that you could well be missing out on – so I’m here to help.
Firstly, I would like to clarify that at present there are discounts available on 3 Mobile Broadband for existing 3 customers. These discounts only apply towards the cost of the USB Dongle hardware and seeing as some of the packages already include a free Dongle the discount only really applies to a few packages. To make this clear, here is a list of current 3 Mobile Broadband packages that feature a discount for existing customers:
- Broadband Lite (1GB) 12 month contract
- Broadband Plus (3GB) 12 month contract
- Broadband Lite (1GB) 18 month contract
(these discounts are available on any type/colour of USB Dongle with the packages above)
Right, so how do you claim your discount?
Once you’ve selected the qualifying package, added it to your Basket, and hit Buy Now you will reach the ‘Your basket’ page where you can checkout. In the basket summary you will see a column titled ‘Phone cost’ containing the statement, “Are you already a 3 customer?” – hit the YES button and fill in the short form to qualify for your well earned discount.
You qualify for the Mobile Broadband discount if you are either a 3 contract holder or a Pay As You Go customer.
This is deal is a bit too good, so 3 have had to limit each existing customer to a maximum of two discounted Mobile Broadband purchases!

I also wanted to clear up the subject of purchasing USB Dongle Skins – the individualised funky stickers designed exclusively for you to customise your 3 Mobile Broadband hardware. I love this idea, 3 Skins really do smarten up the Dongle and all in all, they’re pretty good fun (not to mention ever so slightly practical).I’m sure there must be customers looking to purchase a new 3 Mobile Broadband product complete with the 3 Skins cover of their choice, but unfortunately that is not currently possible. But don’t fear, all you need to do is purchase your 3 Mobile Broadband package and once you have, go straight to the 3 Skins website (www.threeskins.com) where you can choose from the latest designs and get them sent to you Free Delivery within the UK – no problemo!
